Inside the atomic bomb

How does it work?

The atomic bomb uses an unstable element like uranium-235 or plutonium-239. When a neutron strikes one of these elements the nucleus splits into two fragments, that nucleas then splits aswell and gives away neutrons causing a chain reaction. There is so much energy being released that the bomb explodes causing huge amount of damage to its surroundings.
